This compilation focuses on roots vocal tracks that were originally released on 7” singles, 10” and 12” EP’s and also various CD album tracks dating from 1990 onwards, plus previously unreleased tracks. The rhythms used derive from various musicians; Birmingham’s King Melody, Reading’s Martin Campbell & Hi-Tech Roots Dynamics, Rhythm Foundation, Alien Dread, and Kevin Delahaye.

As a side note - the excellent shot on the cover was plucked from the archives and features Kendrick Andy (Peter Marshall) and was supplied by Martin Campbell.
